We purchased Zack in 2014, and we absolutely could not LOVE him more!  Aside from the obvious – great pedigree, great performer, 100% color producer – Zack is a truly outstanding individual with a wonderful personality, gentle disposition, incredible movement and he is just a pleasure to be around on a daily basis.  He’s everything that I’d hoped he would be and then some.

Zack will be standing to a limited number of outside mares in 2016.  His Stud Fee is $700 plus $300 Booking Fee (Total $1000) and includes the first shipment or one week of mare care for on-site breeding.  If necessary, additional shipments are $250 each and mare care is $15 per day.  Considerations given to proven performers and producers.  We GUARANTEE COLOR & a Live Foal on all mares.  If you are interested in breeding your mare, contact Katie at 770-548-9265 or

At 17 years young, Zack returned to the show pen with Katie and earned 5 Tobiano Color points, .5 Open Aged Stallion Halter points, .5 Amateur Aged Stallion Halter points & was 2X APHA Reserve Grand Champion Stallion in Alabama!  He took everything in stride, behaved perfectly & showed like the true professional that he is –  great job old timer!

We feel so fortunate to have the opportunity to own Zack!  This guy is the ultimate in Paint Western Pleasure breeding, color and performance.  In the show pen he earned 149 APHA Open Western Pleasure points in the early 2000’s before retiring to stud.  His homozygous tobiano status is no mistake, nor is it a “just breed for color” thing – read on for a look into this stallion’s amazing pedigree!

Zack’s sire is the great Mr Zippo Jack Bar.  He showed very successfully in both the Paint and Pinto Associations.  He is a Pinto World Champion in Open Western Pleasure with 125 points.  He is also an APHA Reserve World Champion in Open Western Pleasure with 92 points (Superior).  Mr Zippo Jack Bar was a prolific stallion siring a high percentage of color foals and multiple World Champions.

Zack’s dam is Zips Miss Millie, who is both a proven performer and producer.  She earned 30 APHA Western Pleasure points and ROMs in both Open and Youth Western Pleasure.  She is the dam of 8 foals, 4 of them point earners, and 3 of those have their ROM and/or Superior!

Zippo Jack Bar (AQHA) is legendary – his movement, size and style won in the 80’s and it’s still what we strive for today – slow stride, flat front leg, level topline, self carriage and beautiful cadence.  His influence is felt in almost every stock-type breed today.  He is both maternal & paternal grand sire to Zack.  I don’t think there is another homozygous tobiano stallion that can make that claim – let me know if you find one!

On the bottom side, his maternal grand dam, Miss Sky High, earned 170 Western Pleasure points, 88 Halter points and 42 HUS points – of the 11 foals she produced, 9 were performers with 5 of those earning ROM/SUP awards!  She was by Sky Bug Bingo – arguably one of the greatest tobiano stallions of all time.  He earned a Superior in Halter and ROMs in 6 events – Western Pleasure, Cutting, HUS, Reining, Racing and Barrels – he was an APHA Champion, Supreme Champion and World Champion for Get of Sire!

On the top side, Zack’s paternal grand dam, Barton Jewel, earned 61 Halter, 19 Western Pleasure, 14 HUS and 4 Reining points – of the 16 foals she produced, 12 were performers with 9 of those earning ROMs and 8 earning SUP awards – what an amazing mare!  She was by another influential tobiano stallion, Painted Jewel, who had 22 Halter, 12 Racing points and produced many top performers.
